Job summary

Children's Hospice South West is seeking a friendly Sibling Support Worker to join the Charlton Farm team near Bristol. You will provide activities, play opportunities and emotional support for brothers and sisters of children receiving hospice care, while upholding confidentiality and working as part of a small, supportive team.

The role requires experience in a health or social care setting and a relevant play qualification (NNEB or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a health or social care setting.
• Confidentiality is essential and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities and opportunities for play for brothers and sisters.
• Offer emotional support and bereavement care when needed.
• Be part of the sibling team to create a positive and happy stay for children and families.
