Job summary

Children's Hospice South West seeks a friendly Sibling Support Worker to join the Charlton Farm team near Bristol. You will provide activities and opportunities for play, plus emotional support and bereavement care for brothers and sisters staying with us, in a sensitive hands-on way.

Applicants should have experience in a health or social care setting and a relevant NNEB play qualification, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team within a compassionate, inclusive hospice

Qualifications

• Experience in health or social care setting is essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
• Must work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities and opportunities for play for siblings.
• Offer emotional support and bereavement care as needed.
• Support families and work as part of the sibling team.
