Job summary

St Columba's Hospice Care is seeking an experienced Groundskeeper to join the Facilities team at the Hospice. The role covers grounds maintenance, landscaping, and caring for outdoor spaces that staff, patients, and visitors use daily.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised horticulture or landscaping qualification, have gardening experience, and possess a full driving licence. The position offers a permanent contract and a Monday–Friday shift pattern at 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Recognised horticulture, garden maintenance or landscaping qualification.
• Experience in gardening or horticulture work.

Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns, planting and weeding borders, trimming trees and bushes.
• Landscaping, sweeping paths and car parks, and clearing snow and ice in winter months.
• Maintenance of Hospice buildings as part of facilities team.
