We are looking for an experienced Groundskeeper to join our Facilities team at the Hospice.
The Hospice is surrounded by landscaped outside areas, making them pleasant places for staff, patients and visitors. Working as a Groundskeeper, your work will include mowing lawns, planting and weeding borders, trimming trees and bushes, landscaping, sweeping paths and car parks, and clearing snow and ice in the winter months.
You may be involved in creating new garden areas in the grounds of the Hospice. This could include providing a peaceful space for patients and visitors, a quiet place of remembrance or somewhere for children to play.
As well as ensuring that our outside areas are safe, tidy and attractive, you’ll also contribute to the maintenance of the buildings within the Hospice as part of the facilities team.
To apply you’ll need to hold a recognised horticulture, garden maintenance or landscaping related qualification, and have some experience of gardening or horticulture work. You must also hold a full and valid driving licence.
