Job summary

Marie Curie Edinburgh Hospice is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dedicated team, ensuring buildings, grounds and essential systems are safe and fully operational for patients, visitors, volunteers and staff.

You will manage planned and reactive maintenance, support compliance with health and safety requirements, and help deliver an excellent facilities service across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and budget oversight in maintenance or facilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and fire safety management.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and PAT testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and essential systems to high standards.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities and contractor work.
• Support compliance with health and safety requirements across the site.
• Apply technical expertise to troubleshooting and problem solving.
