Job summary

Shooting Star Childrens Hospices is seeking a part-time Care Events Coordinator in Guildford to plan and deliver a diverse programme of events for children and families affected by life-limiting conditions. You will own events from planning through delivery, coordinating logistics, venues, volunteers and resources to ensure safety and engagement, while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and provide regular feedback to improve the programme,

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating activities, events or experiences for children, young people and families.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver a varied programme of events, groups and activities for children, young people and families.
• Manage logistics, venues, suppliers, volunteers and resources to ensure activities are safe and engaging.
• Work with Christopher's hospice teams to plan and facilitate daily activities during stays.
