Job summary

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is seeking a proactive events coordinator to plan and deliver a diverse programme of activities for children, young people and families affected by life-limiting conditions. You will coordinate logistics, venues, volunteers and communications, ensuring compassionate, high-quality experiences in welcoming environments.

• Experience coordinating events for children and families.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and with colleagues, volunteers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver a varied programme of events, groups and activities for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, their families and bereaved families.
• Plan logistics, venues, suppliers and volunteers to ensure safe, engaging experiences.
• Gather feedback and contribute to programme development to meet family needs and preferences.
