Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking a Street Scene Horticulturalist to maintain cemeteries and public spaces to a high standard. A positive, enthusiastic attitude, teamwork, and a valid driving licence for trucks up to 3.50 tonnes are essential.

Training will be provided to use grounds maintenance machinery and deliver excellent service to residents. The role offers a salary of £25,584 per annum (pay award pending), permanent full-time hours (37 per week, Monday to Friday) and opportunities for

Salary details: Grade 5, £25,584 per annum (pay award pending)

Contract Type: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37hrs per week Monday to Friday

Although experience in Horticulture or Grounds Maintenance would be desirable it is not essential for theroleof Street Scene Horticulturalist. We want someone who has a positive, enthusiastic attitude, works well in a team, can drive and is committed to delivering an excellent service every day.

We will provide training to allow you to use a variety of grounds maintenance machinery to deliver a high standard grounds maintenance service. Duties include:

  • Driving license is essential for trucks up to 3.50tonne with trailer, ride on/stand on mowers
