Armthorpe Parish Council is seeking to recruit an Estates Maintenance Officer to join its growing friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Parish Council green spaces which include a burial ground, allotment site, community centre grounds and a new play park facility (once opened).

As part of a small team, the role will be both busy and varied. You will be responsible for maintaining council-owned green spaces, supporting the upkeep of council facilities, and ensuring that health and safety requirements are met at all times. The position also involves contributing to project work, implementing new ideas, and helping to develop a high-quality, effective and cost-efficient service.
The right candidate will have great interpersonal skills adaptable to the needs of the role. There will be times when you are required to work closely with the public, volunteers, the Council's staff, and the Councillors.
