MorePeople is seeking a Horticulture Production Manager to lead production, growing and operations across two sites, delivering over 3 million pots annually. You will report to the senior leadership team and oversee managers and supervisors to maintain crop quality and supply efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and hands-on experience with crop production, budgets, and data-driven decision-making in a growing nursery environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial nursery experience required.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Technical knowledge of commercial crop production.
• Budget management experience.
• Confidence using data, Excel and production systems to drive decisions.
• Ability to balance people, production and performance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and growing across two nursery sites to deliver high-quality crops.
• Oversee operations, stock control and despatch aligned with customer requirements.
• Manage production budgets, labour and resource planning.
• Direct managers and supervisors to optimise crop quality and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and capital projects with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and accreditation standards.
