Job summary

Henderson Brown Recruitment is seeking a motivated Collation & Despatch Supervisor for a busy horticulture business. You will oversee the collation team, ensure correct grading, preparation for despatch and adherence to customer specs and quality standards.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach to meet seasonal deadlines, with weekend flexibility. On-site parking and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture, plant production or agricultural operations.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of quality, grading and careful handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the collation team and ensure orders meet customer specs.
• Coordinate workloads, support and develop team members.
• Verify plant quantities, varieties, sizes and grades for despatch.
• Move plants between growing areas and despatch; identify damaged items.
• Ensure activities comply with health and safety procedures.
