Job summary

Bishop Burton College is seeking an experienced Coach and Assessor in Horticulture to deliver training and assessment to apprentices across horticulture sectors, including landscaping and grounds maintenance.

You will build employer relationships, monitor progress, provide feedback, and help apprentices prepare for end-point assessment, bringing at least three years of industry experience and strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ relevant industry experience in horticulture, landscaping or related sectors.
• Experience delivering training and assessing apprentices.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality horticulture training and workplace assessments to apprentices.
• Provide constructive feedback and support apprentices toward end-point assessment.
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records and coordinate with employers.
• Develop strong employer relationships to grow apprenticeship provision.
