Job summary

Grow Careers is seeking a motivated Horticulture Assessor to inspire the next generation of horticulture professionals in London. This role combines delivering workshops, coaching apprentices, and visiting workplaces to support learners’ progression.

You will build strong employer relationships, prepare learners for End-Point Assessments, and maintain excellent learner records. A passion for developing people and hands-on horticultural experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on horticultural industry experience.
• Passion for developing people.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in training, coaching or assessing (desirable).
• Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging horticulture training and practical workshops.
• Coach, mentor and assess apprentices throughout their learning journey.
• Carry out workplace visits, reviews and assessments across London.
• Build strong relationships with employers to support apprentice success.
• Prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessment and celebrate their achievements.
• Maintain high-quality learner records and contribute to an outstanding learner experience.
