Job summary

Capel Manor College seeks a Lecturer/Assessor in Arboriculture to join the apprenticeship team. The role involves interviewing prospective apprentices, planning and visiting workplaces to monitor progress, and delivering classroom teaching for a Level 2 Work-Based Qualification.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about land-based learning, capable of inspiring apprentices of all abilities, and flexible in meeting employer needs with timely, standards-aligned outcomes.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in arboriculture and delivering related training.
• Ability to plan and deliver apprenticeship learning with assessments.
• Experience visiting workplaces and reviewing learner progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with prospective apprentices to determine training pathways.
• Plan, organise and undertake regular workplace visits to review progress.
• Deliver classroom teaching for a Level 2 Work-Based Qualification and provide feedback.
• Liaise with employers and tutors to ensure apprenticeship standards are met.
