A leading charity in the community is seeking a Homelessness Project Worker to provide accommodation and support for homeless individuals in Hinckley. In this role, you’ll empower clients to make positive changes for independent living and work collaboratively with various agencies. Candidates must have a strong commitment to helping others and understanding of homelessness issues. This position offers a competitive salary of £12.82 per hour with full-time working hours.

Qualifications

• Understanding of issues affecting homeless individuals.
• Ability to work in a customer care and quality focused manner.
• Experience of completing support plans and needs assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality accommodation and support to homeless people.
• Empower clients to make positive changes towards independent living.
• Manage a caseload and develop support plans for clients.

Skills

Experience of working with the homeless and/or vulnerable client groups

Effective time management and organisational skills

Ability to deal with difficult situations

Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

Experience in empowering individuals to make informed choices

Education

Valid driving license

Must be over the age of 18
