Job summary

Turning Point in Bristol is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker to support the Homelessness Team. You will manage a caseload and work with partners across housing, primary care and mental health services to reduce drug-related harm and deliver Horizons service objectives.

The role involves delivering harm reduction, outreach and inreach activities, with excellent IT skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience handling a significant caseload in a busy homelessness/recovery setting.
• Knowledge of relapse prevention and barriers to treatment.
• Full driving licence and access to a car desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing harm reduction interventions such as Naloxone, needle exchange and BBV testing.
