Job summary

Camden Council is seeking a Homelessness Prevention Adviser to deliver housing advice and options services in a fast-paced environment. The post will support statutory requirements under the Homelessness Reduction Act and collaborate with partners across the criminal justice system to reduce homelessness on release.

A Standard DBS is required and posts are Permanent and Fixed Term 12 months. We value proactive, trauma-informed approaches, data literacy and inclusive service delivery to help

• Good understanding of housing legislation and related areas.
• Confident using data and digital systems to keep services efficient and accessible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a first class housing advice and options service.
• Ensure statutory Homelessness Reduction Act requirements are met.
• Work with partners using early intervention and prevention strategies.
• Create personalised housing plans and coordinate release planning with criminal justice partners.
