Job summary

Two Saints is seeking a passionate Homeless Support Worker to join our Portsmouth service on a full-time basis. This role focuses on providing guidance, encouragement, and empowering clients to achieve their goals through compassionate, person-centred support.

You will connect with people experiencing homelessness and care leavers, building trust and resilience while following safeguarding policies and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse clients.
• Clear verbal and written English.
• Ability to remain calm and effective when handling challenging situations/crises.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to clients experiencing homelessness and care leavers.
• Offer guidance, encouragement and empowerment to help clients achieve goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centred, outcomes-based support.
• Maintain safeguarding and adhere to policy frameworks during interactions.
