Job summary

Two Saints is recruiting a Homeless Support Worker to join our Southampton service on a full‑time (37hrs) basis. The role focuses on guidance, encouragement and empowering clients to achieve their goals, with a compassionate, person‑centred approach to homelessness and related needs.

You'll build trust, support life skills, and help clients plan next steps while working within safeguarding policies and a collaborative team environment. Enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in homelessness and related issues.
• Ability to contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team.
• Deal promptly and calmly with challenging situations in crises.
• Clear verbal and written English; proficient IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support to clients to build confidence and life skills.
• Guide and empower clients to achieve goals and plan next steps.
• Work within safeguarding policies and collaborate with the team.
