Job Description:

We are currently seeking caring and reliable individuals to join our team as Homecare Workers for both adults and children in Preston. As a Homecare Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with daily living activities, fostering independence, and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transferring techniques.
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, adhering to any dietary requirements.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful interactions.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to the care team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in homecare or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients and their families.
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must undergo background checks and have a valid driver's license (if applicable).
