Baxter in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly organised Homecare Dispenser to support safe and accurate preparation, handling and dispatch of medicines for Homecare patients. You’ll work in a regulated environment following GDP, GWP and pharmacy procedures under the guidance of the Responsible Pharmacist.

You’ll record incidents, manage returns, and assist with quality checks, ensuring accurate system entry, batch control and FEFO.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing Assistant (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good IT skills and experience with warehouse or pharmacy systems.
• Well organised with strong communication skills.
• Experience in a pharmacy and/or warehouse environment.
• Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Cold chain handling experience (desirable).
• Understanding of safeguarding (Level 1 or equivalent).
• Knowledge of safe manual handling practices.
• Awareness of Good Documentation Practice.

Responsabilidades

• Receiving and booking in products with accurate system entry.
• Storing medicines in line with batch control and FEFO.
• Picking, dispensing, and dispatching patient orders with high accuracy.
• Working to SOPs and KPIs to meet service requirements.
• Carrying out compliance and quality checks across operations.
• Escalating discrepancies to management or Responsible Pharmacist.
• Recording incidents, complaints and supporting investigations.
• Managing returns and safe disposal of medicines and waste.
