Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a Homecare Assistant to provide compassionate, client-focused care in the comfort of clients’ homes. You’ll work with individuals with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health needs, or elderly clients, delivering personalised care and support on a flexible, weekly-pay basis.

You will receive industry-leading training aligned with the Care Certificate and Core Skills Training Framework, plus ongoing development and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence is essential; travel expenses covered up to 45p per mile.
• Strong communication skills and a good standard of English are required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required on registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support in clients' homes.
• Assist with nutritional needs and hydration.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed by care plans.
• Offer companionship and monitor wellbeing in line with each client’s care plan.
