Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality care across various settings, from elderly care to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. You will join a compassionate team where every contribution matters and be supported to grow through industry‑leading training.

You’ll benefit from flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends), weekly pay, access to our Workwise app to book shifts, and funded qualifications such as NVQ Levels 2 and 3.

Qualifications

• 6 Months or more experience working in Nursing/Residential homes.
• Valid driving licence and access to vehicle.
• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to attend shifts at short notice and travel to different care settings.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
• You will be required to work within both residential and support living services to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship.
• You’ll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.
