Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes, delivering personal care, meals, medication administration, and companionship in partnership with tailored care plans.

You will be paid weekly and earn between £13.50 and £30.26 per hour, with ongoing training and funded qualifications (NVQ Levels 2 and 3). A full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence is essential, and we cover full travel expenses up to 45p per mile.
• Strong communication skills and a good standard of English are required.
• An enhanced DBS check is required (applied for upon registration).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with nutritional needs.
• Administer medication and monitor health needs as per care plans.
• Offer companionship and support independence in clients' homes.
• Deliver care in line with individual care plans and safety standards.
