Ideally based in or near Truro, supporting customers across Mid & West Cornwall
37.5 hours per week | Paid mileage | Overtime available | Full training provided

Have you ever been told you’re kind, caring, approachable or a good listener? You may not have considered care before, but as a Home Care Assistant with Bluebird Care, those qualities are exactly what we’re looking for.

Our home care visits are a minimum of 1 hour, often 2 hours+, so you have time to offer companionship, build trust and support customers in a calm, personal and unrushed way.

With longer visits, you have the time to get to know each customer and support them in a way that feels truly personal.

If you are heartfelt, reliable and passionate about helping others, you’ll feel at home in our supportive Care Expert Team. We’ll provide full induction, ongoing expert training and guidance, so you feel confident, valued and supported while delivering calm, personal and unrushed care.

Your role is centred around companionship and helping customers feel comfortable, confident and connected in their own home. This may include spending quality time together, sharing conversation, offering reassurance, supporting daily routines, preparing light meals, gentle support with personal care where needed, helping with hobbies or simply being a friendly, familiar face.
