Job summary

Principal People is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for a home-based role covering the Midlands. The position offers a salary of £45,000–£50,000 and includes 23 days of annual leave, a pension scheme, and a 37.5-hour week. Responsibilities include reviewing risk assessments, conducting site audits, and providing health and safety advice to clients. Candidates should have a NEBOSH Construction qualification and experience in the construction industry. This position allows for autonomy and flexibility in managing work.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction / General or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• Experience in the construction industry or similar fields is necessary.
• Familiarity with CDM regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review risk assessments and method statements for clients.
• Conduct site audits and inspections for client sites.
• Assist with incident investigations when needed.
• Provide health and safety advice and support to clients.
• Support clients with CDM regulations.
• Build positive relationships to enhance health and safety culture.
