Job summary

Barnsley Healthcare Federation invites applications for a Physician Associate on a fixed-term 12-month contract, working within a home visiting service between 10am and 6pm. You will join a multi-disciplinary team and have a dedicated GP mentor to support your development.

Candidates must have two years' primary care experience and hold a PA Postgraduate Diploma with Certification of passing the PA National Examination, plus Registration with the Faculty of Physician Associates and the PA

Qualifications

• Two years' post-qualification experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide home visiting care under GP supervision.
• Perform focused history taking and clinical assessment.
• Refer to other services using appropriate referral pathways.
• Develop patient-centred care with multi-disciplinary team.
• Follow approved management plans and protocols.
• Contribute to high-quality, cost-effective patient care and service delivery.
