Job summary

Pear Tree House Care Home in Preston, operated by Care UK, is seeking a Home Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the home, overseeing staff, quality, and compliance for 37.5 hours per week on site.

The role requires a strong leader with experience in care for older people, including dementia settings, plus budget oversight and adherence to Care Standards and health and safety regulations. You will drive service improvements and resident satisfaction within the local community.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years Home Manager experience.
• Care of older people in a Residential and Dementia setting.
• Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts.
• Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation.
• Ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas.

• Promote a caring environment that is delivered according to latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy.

The role:
