Job summary

Gold Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Care Home Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Peterborough. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, person-centred care and regulatory compliance.

Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage staffing, budgets, care plans, and reporting, while building strong relationships with residents, families, and external bodies to drive continuous quality improvement.

• Relevant health or social care qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 5) is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in elderly and dementia care and familiarity with person-centered care is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexibly, respond calmly to emergencies, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo background/reference checks.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Care Home Manager role based in Peterborough. The Care Home Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the home, ensuring safe, person‑centered care and compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards. Key responsibilities include leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams, managing staffing levels and rotas, and overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
