Job summary
Persimmon Homes is seeking a Maintenance Operative in Plymouth to perform high‑quality remedial and maintenance work for new homes. You will manage workloads, complete tasks promptly, and uphold the Persimmon Pledge and customer care standards.
The role requires joinery and painting experience, CSCS card, PASMA is a plus, strong customer service, and full UK driving licence. A supportive, diverse environment and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Experience in homeowner maintenance, including machines and tools.
- Painting and joinery experience required.
- PASMA certificate is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office.
- Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise workloads to complete remedial works on time.
- Provide quality remedial works complying with policies.
- Minimise costs and record costs; identify contra-charging opportunities.
- Complete online reporting via the Operative App for defect resolution.
- Liaise with subcontractors to inspect defects and communicate with customers.
- Comply with HS&E Policy across the team.
