B. Braun's Clinical Homecare Nursing team seeks a Band 5 nurse to deliver IV therapies and teach patients and carers in home settings. The role involves autonomous practice, a rolling rota, and travel beyond the local area in Scotland.

Applicants must hold current adult NMC registration and have at least one year of clinical experience, with the ability to manage emergencies and work independently. A valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Current adult NMC registration as a registered nurse.
• At least 1 year of current clinical experience.
• Competent in management and delivery of IV therapies.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed IV therapies and related care in patients' homes.
• Train patients and carers to connect/disconnect parenteral nutrition and other therapies.
• Teach patients to use infusion devices independently.
• Provide training for care of central venous access devices including dressings.
• Support phlebotomy and cannulation services for patients.
• Document accurately and report clinical changes to the TransCare team or trust.
