Ips Group is seeking a confident, commercially minded Trading Underwriter based near Basildon to underwrite home business across multi-product channels, including e-trade, sub-coverholders and open market brokers. You will underwrite renewals within authority levels, driving conversion and retention while delivering excellent service.

The role requires proven home underwriting experience in an MGA, insurer or Lloyd’s syndicate, strong broker relationships and a proactive trading mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in home underwriting within MGA, insurance company or Lloyd’s syndicate.
• Strong broker relationship skills and numerical, analytical and planning ability.
• Cert CII qualification or similar; willingness to continue studying.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite existing and renewal business within agreed authority levels.
• Help maximise conversion, retention and income.
• Deliver excellent service to brokers and internal stakeholders.
