Job summary

XAD Technologies LTD in Dundee, Scotland, is seeking a Home Installation Engineer to install and configure fiber broadband in customers’ homes, ensuring high quality work and a customer-focused approach.

Job Description:
As a Fiber Home Installation Engineer at XAD Technologies LTD, you will play a crucial role in connecting customers to high-speed fiber broadband. You'll ensure installations are carried out efficiently, to the highest standards, and with a customer-focused approach, as you will be working inside clients' homes.

Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring fiber optic broadband systems in residential properties.
• Testing and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal system performance.
• Educating customers on system usage and addressing any queries.
• Adhering to safety and quality standards during installations.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Certifications: SA001, SA002, S008, S007, SA051C, SA020 and NSWRA/SLG are essential.
• Criminal Record Check - will be required.Previous experience in fiber installation or telecommunications is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with fiber optic tools and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
