Job summary

XAD Technologies LTD is seeking a Home Installation Engineer to connect customers with high-speed fiber broadband. Based in Aberdeen, you will install and configure fiber systems inside customers' homes, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will test performance, troubleshoot issues, educate clients on usage, and maintain accurate records of completed work while delivering a customer-focused service.

Job Description:

As a Fiber Home Installation Engineer at XAD Technologies LTD, you will play a crucial role in connecting customers to high-speed fiber broadband. You'll ensure installations are carried out efficiently, to the highest standards, and with a customer-focused approach, as you will be working inside clients' homes.

Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring fiber optic broadband systems in residential properties.
• Testing and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal system performance.
• Educating customers on system usage and addressing any queries.
• Adhering to safety and quality standards during installations.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Certifications: SA001, SA002, S008, S007, SA051C, SA020, and NSWRA/SLG are essential.
• Criminal Record Check - will be required.
• Previous experience in fiber installation or telecommunications is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with fiber optic tools and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
