Job summary

B&Q Nelson is hiring a Customer Advisor for Building/Hardware on a part-time basis. The role covers assisting customers, stocking, and displaying products, with training in paint-mixing and timber cutting.

The person should be friendly, team-oriented, and flexible to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. The position is a fixed-term contract for three months, with shifts across the week and an hourly rate of £13.10 nationally in the UK.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing with a buzz for helping others.
• Able to work in a team and on a rota including weekends/evenings/bank holidays.
• Willing to learn new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Advising customers and guiding them through home improvement projects.
• Handling stock, setting up displays and keeping the store looking great.
• Willing to be trained in paint-mixing and timber cutting; delivering great service.
