Job summary

B&Q Aylesbury is hiring a Customer Advisor for a part-time role of 15-18 hours per week. Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 7:00am–10:00pm, with a UK notional hourly rate of £13.10. You will help customers, handle stock, set up displays and learn paint-mixing and timber cutting.

A friendly, team-oriented approach is essential. You’ll be trained in product knowledge and customer service, with flexible rota requirements including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and friendly with a passion for home improvement.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Team player capable of working on a rota.
• Eagerness to learn new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers and advise on products and projects.
• Assist with stock, displays and store presentation.
• Participate in paint-mixing and timber cutting training.
