Job summary

The Education Authority (Northern Ireland) invites applications for a Technician 3 to provide technical advice, support and assistance in implementing the school’s educational programme. You will supervise up to five staff and manage resources to ensure readiness and safety of equipment.

You will also develop teaching aids, prepare resources for classes, maintain inventories and assist with orders, while upholding health and safety standards and supporting the broader school team.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs (A*-C) including English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Experience in supervising staff is required.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and allocate duties; provide on-the-job training.
• Provide technical advice and support for the school/department's educational programme.
• Develop, maintain and operate systems for administrative tasks and inventory of resources.
