Job summary

St Joseph's College Enniskillen is seeking a Technician 1 to provide technical support for the Home Economics department. The role focuses on provisioning and maintaining facilities and resources for demonstrations and practical exams, and assisting with safety and admin tasks.

You will set out equipment, prepare materials, manage inventories, and help with minor maintenance, under the guidance of the line manager. This is a part-time post with flexible hours during school terms.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs (A*-C) including English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
• Experience in working within a school environment.
• Knowledge of Technician 1 responsibilities, health and safety regulations, and general administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintenance of facilities and practical resources.
• Prepare, organise and construct resources for demonstrations and exams.
• Set out equipment for class use and store it after use.
• Collect, clean and store equipment; ensure items are ready for use.
