Job summary

Essex Cares is seeking a Care Assistant to support customers in reablement, helping them relearn daily living skills at home and in the community. You will provide personal care, medication support, mobility assistance, and meals, travelling between customers across Wittering and surrounding areas.

The role requires a full driving licence and own insured vehicle, with shifts including early/late and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Care Assistant experience preferred; training provided for non-experienced candidates.
• Must hold a full driving licence with own vehicle insured for business use.
• DBS check will be completed.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Help customers regain independence and relearn daily living skills at home and in the community.
• Provide personal care to customers.
• Provide medication support.
• Support customers with mobility.
• Help customers prepare meals.
• Travel between customers across Wittering and the surrounding area.
