Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Bury to support clients in their own homes with dignity and independence. Driving is required; you will travel between clients across the local community and earn weekly pay with mileage allowance.

We offer flexible hours, a welcome bonus, and full induction to help you start a rewarding career in care. Prior care experience is welcome but not essential—as full training is provided.

Qualifications

Paid Mileage Between Care Calls at 25 pence per mile

Flexible Hours (7am-10pm, Monday-Sunday)

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community
