Job summary

ICare Group is seeking Home Care Assistants in Trafford/Urmston to support people to live independently at home. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily activities, and monitor wellbeing within a trusted community team.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay, and mileage reimbursement for travel between clients.

Qualifications

• Holding a full UK driving licence is required.
• Access to your own vehicle is required.
• Be able to travel throughout the Trafford area.
• Willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team.
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community.

£13.45 - £13.70 per hour - Weekly pay

£125 Welcome Bonus (T&Cs apply)

Paid Mileage Between Care Calls at 25 pence per mile

Flexible Hours (7am-10pm, Monday-Sunday)
