Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a Home Care Assistant (Driver Required) for the Trafford area, covering Urmston and surrounding locales. You’ll travel between clients’ homes to support independence and quality of life with dignity and compassionate care.

Flexible hours (7am-10pm, Mon-Sun) and full induction with ongoing development are provided. A £125 welcome bonus, mileage allowance, and weekly pay are part of the package.

Paid Mileage Between Care Calls at 25 pence per mile

Flexible Hours (7am-10pm, Monday-Sunday)

• Hold a full UK driving licence


• Have access to your own vehicle


• Be able to travel throughout the Trafford area


• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion


• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines


• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition


• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans


• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks


• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment


• Offering companionship and emotional support


• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support


• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care


• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team


• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community
