Job summary

Aberdeen Cyrenians is seeking caring, motivated individuals to join our Home Care team in Aberdeen. You will provide person-centred care in service users' homes, following care plans, and ensuring safety and dignity.

The role offers flexible hours, extensive training, and opportunities to develop in social care. A SVQ3 or equivalent qualification is preferred, with experience in similar roles and strong communication with service users, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of N/SVQ3 in Adult Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
• Literacy and numeracy to maintain paperwork and reports.
• Able to use smartphone app and Word for documentation.
• Proven track record in a similar role.
• Willingness to work toward SVQ3.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in person-centred care in service users' homes.
• Communicate with service users, families and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Record care notes and ensure safety and dignity.
• Support independence and assist with daily living tasks.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and relevant standards.
