Job summary

Ark Housing Association Ltd in Forfar is recruiting Female Support Practitioners to join our services supporting a young woman in her own home, helping her to live independently and achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will provide daily living support including personal care, medication administration, household tasks, and participation in activities. Training is provided, and shift patterns run 7am–11pm with sleepovers. Experience in social care is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care is beneficial but not essential.
• Willing to complete training and DBS checks as part of onboarding.
• UK working rights and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the person supported.
• Administer medications as directed by care plan.
• Assist with household tasks to maintain a safe home.
• Support participation in activities and community opportunities.
• Promote choice, independence and wellbeing for the person supported.
