Job summary

New Age Care is seeking a Domiciliary Care Worker in Birmingham to provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' homes, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will assist with daily living tasks and monitor health needs as outlined in care plans.

Role includes driving to client locations, flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, with full training and DBS clearance provided. Opportunities to undertake CQC-aligned training and professional development.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance required.
• Full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access.
• Flexible to cover different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist with personal care and promote client independence.
• Daily Living Support: Support with meals, mobility, and household tasks as outlined in the care plan.
• Medication Support: Administer or support medication and maintain records.
• Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage clients' social and recreational engagement.
• Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain care records, report health changes promptly, and adhere to safeguarding standards.
• Professional Conduct: Attend mandatory training and participate in professional development.
