Job summary

New Age Care in Birmingham is seeking a Live-In Care Worker (Female) to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a client’s home. You will support daily living, personal care, meal preparation, mobility, and accompany the client to appointments while promoting independence and dignity.

You must be caring, reliable and patient, with good spoken English and a valid UK driving licence. A full, clean licence and own vehicle may be required for work duties.

Qualifications

• Good cooking skills with the ability to prepare nutritious meals.
• Good spoken English and strong communication skills.
• Capable of managing household duties safely and effectively.
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate disposition.
• Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and use own vehicle if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care in the client's home.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and mobility as per care plan.
• Administer or support with medication and maintain records.
• Offer companionship and encourage participation in activities.
• Escort client to appointments, shopping, and social events as needed.
• Maintain accurate care records and report health changes promptly.
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and ongoing learning.
