Job summary

Safi Homecare is recruiting experienced Care Assistants to join our team across west Leicestershire, covering Braunstone Town, Groby, Ratby, Anstey and Markfield. You will visit older people and adults at home, supporting them with daily living tasks and mobility, with a focus on dignity and independence.

Driving is essential for this round. We offer a full induction and ongoing training, with benefits such as pension, holiday pay, and DBS.

Qualifications

• Previous paid care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Typical visit includes talking with the person, helping them do things for themselves, and supporting routines and interests.
• Personal care, washing, dressing and continence support with dignity.
• Medication prompting and administration where needed.
• Meal and drink support and monitoring intake.
• Safe moving and handling and assistance with mobility.
• Light housework and shopping.
• Accurate recording on the digital care system.
