Westmorland Homecare is seeking compassionate and reliable Homecare Assistants to join our team, delivering personalised care to vulnerable adults in their own homes. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, help with meals, and support medication administration, while offering emotional support.

Your role varies daily, with guaranteed hours, in-house training, and 24/7 support from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for vulnerable adults preferred.
• Ability to provide emotional support to clients.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care and assistance to clients in their own homes.
• Offer companionship and help with daily activities and meals.
• Assist with medication administration as required.
• Support clients to stay living independently and safely.

Job description

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Homecare Assistants to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalised care and assistance to vulnerable adults within their own homes. This includes providing companionship, helping with daily activities, running errands, preparing meals, and administering medications. The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude and be able to provide emotional support to clients in addition to physical care.

Pay: £17.25 an hour

Your role will vary from day to day, from helping people get up, washed, and dressed in the morning to administering medication and assisting people to get out into the community. We strive to help people live fulfilled and enriched lives through everything we do.
