Job summary

ICare Group in Sefton is seeking a Home Care Assistant to help people live independently and safely at home. You will drive between clients' homes across the local community, providing compassionate, person-centred care and practical support with daily routines.

What Will You Be Doing?

As aHome Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community
