Job summary

Delta Care Ltd is seeking Home Care Assistants to provide in-home support in Southport and surrounding areas, including town centre, Formby, Birkdale and Ainsdale. Work includes mornings and evenings with training provided. Part-time and full-time shifts available; drivers only may apply.

No formal qualifications required as full paid training is offered; care experience preferred and mileage, pension, and training benefits are available.

Qualifications

• No qualifications or previous experience is required as we do offer full paid training.
• Care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow the individualized care plan.
• Assist service users with getting in and out of bed.
• Provide washing/bathing and dressing assistance.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
• Assist with toileting and changing clothes as required.
• Provide support with daily living tasks including shopping and paying finances.
• Adhere to Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.

Mornings: 7 AM - 2 PM

The Role

The role is community-based, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live safely and independently. This will also consist of providing personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.

Job Description

• To read and follow the individualized care plan.

• To provide assistance with washing/bathing and dressing.


• To prepare meals, drinks, and snacks, as and when necessary.


• To provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes, as and when necessary.


• To provide assistance with daily living tasks, including cleaning, shopping, and paying finances.


• To adhere by Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.
